Once there was an island called Thomba Island. There was no life until a little bear showed up. The little bear was called Tinker. She was a great bear and that bear Tinker, brought life to Thomba Island.

All the plants began to grow, all the rivers began to flow, and all the animals were awaken. There was life before, but the queen bear lost her young one. Tinker and all the animals went to sleep.

When she returned everything was awaken and there was life again. They all had joy on Thomba Island. They had stuff to eat, stuff to drink, and all their homes were restored. The crocs had water, the bucks had plants, the birds had trees, and you know the rest.

Everybody was happy except Tinker. Her mom went to her and asked what is wrong and Tinker said to her mom "I have no friends ".Tinker's mom said "I am going to visit Laura an Lola, you want to come?" Yes please!!! Tinker said.

Mom and Tinker were off to visit their friends, but they didn't make it, a storm came and it washed Tinker away. Her mom couldn't save her as the storm was too strong. Everybody thought Tinker was dead, but she wasn't. Tinker was saved by a shark.

First she thought the shark wanted to eat her, but he saved her from the storm. He asked:"Where are you from?"Tinker said: "I am from Thomba Island - can you take me there?" He said: " I can't take you there the rivers are dry there." Tinker said no it is not anymore "…when I found my way back it all was just there. The water the bushes, the animals were not sleeping anymore; every thing came back to life, please take me there?"

The shark said he would take her and she thanked him. When they were finally there she gave him a piece of meat and she thanked him again. Tinker was glad to be home. She went straight to her mom and gave her a big hug "Mom I will never say I have no friends - everybody is my friend and you are my best friend ever thanks for being that way".
