Sea Monkeys
One
day, not so long ago, there was a girl named Sam and
a boy named Mike. Sam and Mike were brother and sister
they were twins too. They were both brunets and they
both loved pets. They always, always wanted their
own pets. Sam and Mike's parents did not let them
have pets because they said it costs too much.
Friday
19, August 2003 there were new pets discovered by
a normal none famous Chinese person. The pets were
in eggs. They did not want to hatch so the Chinese
tried to hatch it. Then he found out how to hatch
these creatures. He hatched them and he said "I
would call you sea monkeys" because he found
them in the sea and they were as cute as little monkeys.
The Chinese man started to sell them and he got very
popular.
The
next morning when Sam went to watch Batman there was
a new advertisement about Sea Monkeys. "Mike
come look here!" she shouted "what, what
is it" Mike replied "I don't know, but it's
very cool!" she shouted again. Mike ran down
the stairs through the kitchen and into the living
room.

"WOW"
both of them said. "Mom, Dad can we have sea monkeys"
Sam and Mike asked. "What on earth" said dad
"Is a sea monkey" Said mom. "A sea monkey
is this little fish thing that you grow and then it
lives for 2 years" Sam said. "Stop your nonsense
kids I don't want to hear anymore of this. Go to your
room and don't come out until I call you!" Mom
shouted.
Sam
and Mike cried and cried because their parents didn't
believe them. Then Mike got up and said "we can't
let our parents take us down. We should fight back".
They both got up and they made a pretty box to throw
some coins in. They walked down the road and they
asked people for money. They both sighed "huh"
"why won't anybody give us money? Lisa and Greg
got money this way, what's wrong with us?" Sam
asked. Mike said they had to put on funny clothes
and perform a few tricks to get money.
Sam
said it's a brilliant idea so they got dressed up
and they practised a show to entertain people. They
got lots and lots of money. They went to the store
and bought the original sea monkey kit. When Sam and
Mike got home they immediately started to throw water
in and they waited 24 hours; then they threw in the
sea monkeys and they watched them grow day after day.
Sam
said "We have to hide them what if mom and dad
found them". Mike said "Relax all we have
to do is show them to mom and dad and tell them what
it is then they would forgive us and believe us"
and so they did. They told their parents and they
were forgiven. Sam counted the sea monkeys and she
shouted "there are 101 sea monkeys in this tank!"
The one sea monkey swam and made loops all day long
so they called him Loopy.
