Be careful little white mouse
There is a cat in the house
With eyes wide open and sparkling green
She easily keeps our house "mouse clean…"

At dinner be sure to keep your feet still
Wiggling toes give her such a thrill…
She slowly crawls closer - like a thief in the night,
Before you can scream, she had her first bite!

Homework done, time for bed,
I always make sure my cat is well fed.
Milk, chicken and tuna fish,
All ingredients of her favourite dish.

As I kneel down on my knees to pray,
Thanking our Lord for another great day.
She softly purrs close to my ear,
In her own way saying thank you,
for friendship so dear.

Something woke me, what I don't know,
While I'm searching, curiosity grows…
I found what sounded like little sheep
Half a dozen kittens, fast asleep!

Proud she sits, not making a move
She is a mother, here is the proof!
Watching her children in father's hat,
She is everything but an Alley Cat!
