The Kruger House
Museum is located in Church Street and is one of the many Pretoria museums
to celebrate the life of one of South Africa's leaders. It commemorates
President Paul Kruger's life. He was the president of the Transvaal Rebublic.

Malan Museum
The
Claude Malan Museum is worth a visit if you are into rare books, diamons,

Pioneer
Open Air Museum
The Olde Pioneer Museum hosts the Boeremark every Saturday morning and
commemorates the life of the Voortrekkers. It is an open air museum where
visitors can see how the Voortrekker farms looked. (Dit is 'n ope lug

Smuts
House Museum
Smuts House is the historical house of General Jan Smuts. He lived in
the house for more than forty years. The museum is located in the southeastern
part of Pretoria in Irene. It is one of its kind and is a living museum
of the life and joys of General Jan Smuts and is one of the Pretoria

Melrose
House
Melrose House is one of the Pretoria museums located in the central city
district and is famous for being the place where the Vrede van Vereeniging
agreement was signed after the Second Anglo-Boer War. It was also used
as headquarters of the British forces during the Second Anglo-Boer War.
Die Melrose Huis is in Victoriaanse styl gebou en is bekend omdat dit
die plek was waar die Vrede van Vereeniging ooreenkoms geteken is na afloop

beautiful sandstone building shows the history of Tranvaal up to the 1910
union as well as palaeonthological materials and also houses the geological

Marks Museum
The Sammy Marks Museum is one of the most beautiful Pretoria museums and
is a commemoration of the life of Sammy Marks who was a respected businessman.
It is one of the best and well preserved Victorian houses in the country.
