If you are a lefthander or work with lefthanders
you will notice an inclination towards more
creative jobs. Rules and regulations are constantly
areas of conflict for lefthanders.
They
tend to follow careers where they can be challenged
and where routine is not a prerequisite for the job.
As such you will find few lefthanders
in careers such as accounting or office administration.
According to various studies lefthanders are well
presented in the following areas:
- Entertainment
(media, acting, drama, stand-up comedy, dancing,
and music).
- Neurology
(most probably because of their interest in the
human mind and personalities).
- Science
(yes, they love the challenge of discovering,
inventing, and exploring).
- Arts
& Culture (photography, painting, and sculpting,
writing, graphical design and journalism).
- Information
Technology (programming, web design, SEO, technicians,
support and gaming).
- Sport
(baseball, cricket, fencing, boxing, and tennis).
- Politics
& Public Speaking
(they make for excellent leaders, have great verbal
skills and know how to connect with people).
The
lefthanders
are not so well presented in the fields of health,
administration, and teaching. Few are found in the
fields of dentistry most probably because the tools
and seating are normally made for right-handers. The
same applies for other medical fields where for instance,
surgical tools are mainly made for right-handers and
health teams dislike working with left-handed surgeons.
Few
lefthanders
follow manual type of careers, perhaps because of
the practicality required as well as tools made for
right-handers. Apparently the lefthanders also don't
make good housekeepers. Learn more about lefthanders
